The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom is a twin seat, twin engine supersonic jet. It is used as an interceptor and bomber what can be used in all weather. It was built for the US Navy and first entered service with them in 1960. In the mid 60s it was adopted to the US Marine corps and US Air Force.
