The Douglas C-9 is the military version of the Douglas DC-9 civil aircraft. For the USAF it was produced as the C-9A Nightingale and the C-9B Skytrain II for the US Navel Reserves and US Marine Corps. The Boeing C-40 Clipper (military version of the 737-700) is replacing the US Navel Reserves C-9B fleet.
