The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is a twin engined all weather fighter aircraft. It was originally designed as an air superiority fighter but has since been adapted to many other roles, with the F-15E, for example, primarily being a strike fighter.
The F-15 in its many variants has seen action in a number of conflicts worldwide, although to this day an F-15 has never been downed in air to air combat. Operators:
